A great hotel doesn’t just service our needs or indulge our desires. It tells us something important about ourselves: that we could live here, that we have chosen this, of all places, to lay our hat.
In the 21st century, travel is an option to an ever-increasing number of people. Accommodation can, and should be, an affective experience; inherently aspirational.
Hotel Geek is a meditation on a writer’s obsession with transformative travel. It’s an ongoing experiment in place and space, featuring musings on architecture, design, atmosphere, art, engineering, sustainability and imagination…

Lo/Rez Magazine

The point where art and science converge exposes humanity at its most innovative. This creative arena is where ideas form and develop into the inventions and discoveries that shape our world.

Maintaining an open mind and exploring all areas of art-science crossover, from the obvious categories like sci-fi and architecture to more obscure events and projects, Lo/Rez aims not only to document, but also contribute – in its own modest way – to the ongoing conversation between imagination and innovation.
